For Women’s History Month, PEAR wants to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of a Black-owned business to the field of education and social emotional development. Create and Educate, founded by Dr. Sheka Houston and Tammy Taylor, school leaders with 40 years of experience between the two of them, provides professional development and training, and helps authors connect their books to K-12 educators. PEAR has been working with Create and Educate over the past year to promote Dr. Noam's Ten Big Bets: Transforming Education During the Pandemic and Beyond.
